I had given up on Facebook. Someone managed to use its system against me be making multiple request to reset my password. So I eventually decided to live without it.
But I begrudgingly found that Facebook can be a useful tool to make contact with people to discuss a variety of technologies...
I solved a problem and I am posting this here so that others, who might have this problem, will have a solution too.
I have an HP ENVY 4500 scanner/printer. Eventhough it allows me to print, scanning is a suddenly not possible.
On the software Windows, side, when I click to "New Scan", the...
Excellent! Much thanks !!
This explains how to back up an image before starting over.
This might be a stupid question, but, what is the command to start over? Do I need to just have an ISO of windows 10 pro somewhere to boot from? I imagine if I do not have that lying around, I am going to...
I don't remember the last time I added memory to my motherboard. And I do not know what specifics about my system you need to know in order to give me some advice.
Here is the problem in a nut shell. After I installed my memory, I powered on my computer and it would cycle between starting up...
I went ahead and took the leap and bought memory.
Will this work or should I return it? What do you think?
There are lots of reasons why the memory might not work. One reason repeated is that it is the wrong type of memory. I wanted to ask the fourm before I even try.

So, since I am a poor windows user, I have done the same on powershell.
and it puts everything on my C drive under AppData\Roaming.
So my...
well, faulty cable or not, for now it is working the way I told in my last post. As the saying goes, if it is not broke, don't fix it. I will revisit this thread if things go back to a single monitor again.
Nenu, this post got me thinking that this might be an OS update glitch. So, I gave something a try and it has worked (so far). But I want to keep this thread of discussion open here just in case this is only temporary.
Now, let me explain what I did and why. I started to suspect this was a...
I tightened video cable connections on the back of the CPU box and it went back to the dual monitors on reboot. But it did not last and after I stepped away from the computer, I returned and it is back to the broken single monitor desktop.
I will swap the monitors next.
