Newegg's customer support is really starting to be shit. I have had numerous times that I was very frustrated with their level of service. This is one reason I don't buy much of anything from them anymore. Not to mention I can get better prices elsewhere with much better return policies on top...

I think the price is a bit high for a 27, but really you won't know until they come out and they are reviewed and in users hands. Maybe they are the perfect LCD, but I highly doubt it. Looks like there is no Vesa mount which is a deal breaker for me.

You need to be more specific on what you want. Are you only gaming 24/7 or do you watch movies, do a lot of text work, photography, etc? Best under $1000 is very vague depending what you actually want to use it for.
