Looking at the manual for the mobo it makes no mention of an Aux 6 pin power connector, however if you need a psu with all three connectors pc power & cooling will add any connector you need to any of their psu's for a small charge.
I'm also a legacy att customer....if you don't want the latest phone check out a nokia 6310i....you just can't kill them, and are available on ebay. If you want the latest check out the nokia E50
Before I updated to the 3.4, I had a 2.6 in my comp.....you really should have no problem pushing it to fsb of 225 or 230 with the right memory at a 1:1 divider, just don't go over 1.6V Some good UTT or TCCD (BH-5 if you can find it) running at pc3500-3700 should do the trick. The 2.6 was an...
If I'm not mistaken the Intel Pressler 930 ($357) and 940 ($460) are both available on newegg for under $1000 and should work nicely with the mobo you selected. From what I gather water cooling should not be needed since the 65nm proc runs much cooler than the prescott (90nm) However a good...
My vote goes for the Mushkin Redline....excellent reviews, the newer versions run at "normal" voltages under 3.0V and you can buy them directly from Mushkin with their usual lifetime warrenty and outstanding customer service and support. ( and,no I don't have any affiliaion to Mushkin, just a...
A psu that dies on you can take out almost any component in your system. Recently I've noticed a higher percentage of mobo's and cpu's.....but they are all fair game to a failed psu. Generally a psu manufacter will test their units and rate them by MTBF....Mean Time Before Failure, usually its...
Looks like your a bit cpu limited....I had a 2.6C before I upgraded to the current 3.4....loved the 2.6, it ran cool and OC'd very well. Even still you should with your gpu and 2.6 and 1Gb of memory should do fine with BF2/FEAR. If your memory/mobo is up to the task and you have adequate...
Your lack of ram is definitley part of your problem, 1Gb would be fine for the games you listed, 2Gb would be ideal for BF2 for sure and I suspect for FEAR as well.....however since you didn't list all your components, it is possible that you are also cpu limited, you may be using onboard sound...
Just go to one of the more reputable online retailers like....Newegg , Tigerdirect or Zipzoomfly Also in the case of Epson, HP, or Plextor, you can buy directly from their website.
Just go to Aircraft Spruce & Specialty they will sell all types of aluminum at good prices, and you can get them shipped in 2 X 4 or larger sheets. For your case you may want to use some "L" stock to reinforce the corners, I'd reccomend some Alclad 2024-T3, in .032 or .040 thickness, 7075 would...
I would reccomend the Asus P4C800-E Deluxe over the P4PXX which seems to be suffering from some bad southbridge chips affecting the front usb ports.....the P4C800-E deluxe does not have this issue and is an excellent mobo in combo with your cpu, also and excellent OC'er
