My first 920 would not allow my ram to OC to 1600. Manual or XMP. I replaced the 920 with a premium batch and wouldn't ya know, problem gone...
Might be something to consider if nothing else works.

I believe i had this set @ 7-7-7-20. It's been a while since ive been in my bios. It might have been 24 instead of 20. My last PC lasted 6 years, so who knows if the 12GB over the 6GB will be a total waste in the years to come :)
CoolerMaster Evo 830 has been on sale from time to time at newegg for 130 shipped. I liked this case better than my 800D quality wise. It also has casters to roll around on and good handles to pick it up. It is on the big side but great for air cooling. If i could return this 800D, i would...
ZZF had some good deals on Enermax as stated above. I got my Enermax Revolution 1050w 85+ for 150 after rebate. The rebate came fairly quick also, but i did call to double check they got it with all the needed info...

I would start by putting the stock cooler back on with the proper amount of thermal...

If your an enthusianist, why wouldn't you care? Nvidia's shift to 40nm didn't go so smooth this time around, should be a good lesson learned for them...
well ive never put a meter to it or calculated anything exact. When i had 1 GTX285 the system was pretty silent with 6 case fans. Its a bit louder with 2x 295's. The noise is coming from the GPU's tho. I dont have a kill-a-watt or amp clamp handy or i would check for ya. Said PSU was on...
If your iphone 3g has been updated to the official 3.1 software then you more than likely cannot unlock it do to it having the 5.xx basband. If the 3G was one of the first out and it has the 5.xx then you might be one of the lucky ones that could use fuzzyband to downgrade your baseband...
ZZF had the Enermax Revolution 85+ for 150 after rebate. It would be extremely efficient at those loads and would give you alot of headroom for expansion.
