Live service games with full in-game mtx shops, season passes and addon content should be free, re: Fortnite. I'd say this also applies to Diablo 4 (the base game) and S&B. If a game is going to cost full price $70 it should not be monetized...

The game is 99% the same as release day. If you care about mods, the CK isn't even out yet. Ignore it for a couple years, get it cheap with all the DLC. Fallout London release next month and it's free.
