Might want to chat w/ MSI customer support about that. What OS, what drivers? I'm using Windows 8, and whatever drivers Windows Update provided. Didn't install any wireless drivers from MSI download page.

What sort of issues? You did plug in one of the antennas, right?

It's kind of a mixed bag. Undervolting disables Cool'n'Quiet, which turns down the voltage and clock speed when the chip isn't in use. This means it actually tends to use more power at idle, unless you can get some MASSIVE undervolts. Saves power under load, costs power when idling. I'm...

The MSI tech I spoke to said it was a self-regulating circuit, and as such could never be controlled by the BIOS no matter the updates to the firmware. I can't find the email now, unfortunately. Anyway, even if it's possible I doubt it would ever be added. BIOS updates are usually just to fix...

Where are you shipping to? Amazon might get a few in stock. They allow backorders, so if they are getting them in ones and twos you'll never see them listed as in stock on the webpage- I'd suggest placing an order, and then if it doesn't ship by the time ShopBLT gets em in stock, cancel when you...

I just left the Noctua blowing the default direction, which I think is down onto the board.

Yes, I was disappointed too. Fortunately the board is doing a good job of managing my 65W APU, so I haven't really needed to tweak it. Compared to the ASRock board, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. :)

I don't know, but it is a 760MHz clock by default (the A10-5800K is a 800MHz clock). You'd be looking at a clock increase of nearly 35% which is pretty big. I'd suggest if you really need maximum GPU performance, consider getting a A10-5800K and downclocking and undervolting the CPU cores to...

Wrote this up at the request of some other folks, figured I might as well include it here: http://gist.io/4199804

The fan itself? Weird. I'd drop Noctua a line. Maybe record a quick snippet of video.

Need help finding a quiet cooler for AMD A10-5700

The Silverstone cooler: http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=368 Is actually designed with your case in mind. The idea is to vent through the PSU, and use the PSU fan as an aid. Worth considering for those who have SG05's

Damn, you're right, that bites. Yeah, I didn't even consider a mATX board for my vishera build, so I wasn't aware...

Got my MSI board today, it's going well. BIOS is missing a few options I had wanted, but the board is behaving much better. By the way, be careful with that WIFI device sticking out of the back. I dinged mine up a little when I was maneuvering the board into the super-dinky case I picked...

It sold out fast, I'm glad I was able to nab one. Hoping I'm happier w/ it than my ASRock board. I would have/should have waited on the ASRock, but it wasn't clear if anybody else would release an FM2 ITX at ALL this year. Now, I know better.

Where did you place your order? Did you go ahead and put in an order for the not-yet-in-stock one on Amazon?
