Been using Opera for maybe about a year or so now. I just love it. I use Firefox as a backup browser for things that don't work in Opera (very few instances of that). If it doesn't work in Firefox, it probably isn't worth going there in the first place. :)
Go check around www.widescreengamingforum.com. That's pretty much the definitive widescreen gaming source. If it can be done, the answer will be somewhere in there.
That sounds like it would be a great class to take. My college has a class called "Fundamentals of Programming a Firewall" which does stuff with Cisco PIX firewalls and even gets into the basics of VPNs. I want to take it so bad but my college hasn't offered it in a while which sucks because...
The INTRO and ICND tests are basically the original CCNA test split into two parts. You can take one at a time but you need to pass both (don't know if within a certain timeframe though). So you can take those two tests or the full CCNA test; both will yield the same result, it's just a matter...
Congratulations. Great work. I am working towards CCNA myself. Currently taking the fourth Cisco class at my college. I took a voucher test for the CCNA-INTRO test and took and passed it so I'm halfway there.
Again, congratulations. I really can't even comprehend what you've accomplish...
This was one of the major reasons why I ended up using Opera (well, that and the mouse gestures). Back when I was on dial-up, Opera made my connection seem faster than it was, more so than IE or the Mozilla suite. I kept thinking to myself that anything that can make dial-up appear faster than...
Never really thought about using ESDF instead of WASD. My keyboard setup usually goes:
W - Forward
S - Backward
A - Strafe Left
D - Strafe Right
Ctrl - Duck
Space - Jump
Shift - Run or walk
R - reload
T - Chat (usually team chat)
Y - Chat (usually global chat)
Q & E - Lean left and...
The project leader of Folding@Home said that, with the way things currently are, the PPU won't provide any benefits for their project. IIRC, he pointed to a lack of a standard programming library/API in the style of OpenGL or Direct3D.
Regardless, Ageia could make a killing by marketing...
Personally, I am optimistic about Ageia and the future of the PPU. I seriously believe this is the best implementation of hardware physics processing, from what I've seen. I know not everyone is sold on the idea yet but if this takes off, Ageia might get some competition from another company...
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it suggested that F.E.A.R. already took advantage of the PPU? If so, that would be a good reason to get a Dell, extract the PhysX card and test it.
