Ok, great, I've seen the Ncase M1 in posts, never realized it has space for a slot loading drive, so it as option, but a bit of a rip off at $100+ for a UJ-265 drive.
I would still like to explore cases that can take a full size optical drive.
There are a limit number of drives that can...
Hi, I am looking for a replacement case for my Shuttle XPC Cube SZ170R6-V2.

I am tired of having to deal with USB3 dropout problems on the Z170 chipset and Win10. I would like to pick my own motherboard, while ideally re-using most of the components in...
Good news, the test BIOS solved the problem for me.
Per SM instructions I also tried SM certified Hynix memory, no difference, but the test BIOS, card initializes just fine.
Thank you.
Thanks, my contact is Milton Cai / miltonc, I'm going to ask him to talk to your guy, could you ask your guy to please talk to my guy, mine still insists it is because I am not using certified memory, which should be delivered on Friday.
Was that an unofficial 2.00, or the official 2.00 dated 04/24/2014?
Can you please share the BIOS with me?
Or if not, can you share the email contact you are dealing with at SM, so I can tell my support contact about your support contact?

Supermicro support said to try to force PCIe2, disable ASPM, disable PCI logging, enable PCI...

Adaptec 7805Q + Supermicro X9SCM-F works fine.
Adaptec 81605ZQ + Supermicro X10SCM+-F works fine.
Adaptec 7805Q + Supermicro X10SCM+-F fail.
The...
Hi, I ordered a few SuperMicro servers for use with Xeon E5-2600 and E3-1200 v2 CPU's.
The mobo's need the v2 firmware in order to run the v2 E3 CPU's.
I only have the new CPU's, I don't have any "spare" older generation CPU's.
Is there any way to update the BIOS without a CPU...
