I kind of expected that. You're just not going to get source-respectful translations from a company. Fortunately for the PC, eventually some fans will eventually change this, but with the amount of text in the game, it could be years in the future.

Certain classes can one hit pretty much any boss, if you have the right gear. The game isn't really well balanced at the moment.

I just don't understand why Square went the direction they did with Final Fantasy. I'm currently making my way through Rebirth, and just struggling. It's gone from a JRPG to an Assassin's Creed clone with focus on bad minigames.
