i think, apart from the C7 as that was the first test i did and i didn't think of removing it until other people mentioned it.
there seems top be a abit of turbulence when you stick the fan underneath the cooler, the same problem as when the fan is too close to the side of the case, but not as...
I made a quick chart of all of my cooler temp tests altogether in case anyone is interested, it saves people looking around the forum for them (all tests done with 6700k @4.4Ghz with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste):
High rez HERE
Loudness key:
1: Silent
2: Very quiet
3: Quiet
4...
I did a few tests, mine fit in perfectly when i used 4mm standoffs and no I/O shield. i didn't bend the pipes at all, i used the TY-100 fan that came with the cooler.
That board in the picture is the x370GTN, which supports full 32Gbps, i think Eingang may be confused as to which chipset the motherboard in the picture is, i think he mistook it for the B350GTN
just in case anyone may make the mistake of buying the B350 chipset board, it only supports 16...
these are the results of the CPU, GPU, and M.2 test with the riser cable on the GPU side of the motherboard tray:
High rez here
The m.2 seems to be staying over 70°C for longer when the m.2 isn't resting against riser cable, and affects the speeds pretty dramatically.
maybe when the riser...
i delidded my 6700K, i still have it clocked at 4.4Ghz and am using the LP53 + a9x14 PWM in vertical orientation with 4mm standoffs, here are the temps:
Idle temps:
Prime 95 temps:
Very happy with those temps.
I have routed the GPU riser on the GPU side and will do the GPU, CPU and M.2...
this is after an hour of stress tests, the 960 pro went upto 72°C but as you can see it didn't affect the speeds too much. maybe ill try it with the riser cable on the gpu side if i can be bothered to do that again.
high rez pic here
Here you go, I put the LP53 with a9x14 pwm with low noise adapter back on.
(the pic looks really small on this thread, if you can't read the numbers there is a high rez pic here )
This is with prime 95 stressing the cpu, furmark stressing the gpu, and crystaldiskmark stressing the m.2.
The...
I can run a gpu stress test and a m.2 stress test if you'd like, i might run a cpu one too just to see if everything running altogether would affect it, but i can't think of a scenario where the cpu, gpu and m.2 are going all out, maybe if you were transfering large files to another drive and...
I just tested my samsung 960 pro 1tb m.2 , which is on the backside of the motherboard (i have installed and am using 4mm standoffs) wedged in between the motherboard and the GPU riser cable, as you can see i only get 49°C MAX when doing a stress test, but i'm not sure if this is stressing it as...
No problem. I would love to test it.
You're welcome, i enjoy testing things and tinkering. I hope the copper cooler works flawlessly, i am jelly, cheers for the pics and vids!
