Thanks, I contacted NCIX and their only advice was to contact the manufacturer directly since they offered the rebate. So I've fired off an email to KFA2 sales but am not holding my breath for anything positive to happen.

Well the "good news" was I got the $40 check, the very bad news that the check was not any good. I deposited it and it came back marked unpaid "REFER TO MAKER" and I was charged a $5.00 fee in addition to have the $40 taken back out of my account.

The Archaea special deal is back on uBid only this time it's being sold as the s3300t (vs. s3200t). Same configuration as above (with the combo HD/Blue-Ray) listed as just HD drive just closed for $303.

So has anyone actually received their rebate from the Galaxy 8600GT from worldrebates.com? From what I've read online in forums it seems like they go out of their way to deny rebates rather than pay them..
