I agree I have 2. but HDR on the shield is still not perfect. You must switch the color profile each time you switch from SDR to HDR.

I have a GT 1030 in my HTPC and it does not handle 4K content. From what I have read a 1050 or 1060 is needed and you must use windows for HDR.

I have not tried running it in a VM. But do use Dockers and VM's in unRAID, they work great.

I have built many NAS systems both FreeNAS and unRAID. For ease of use, unRAID is the way to go. It has a great web UI, lots of community support and setup is a breeze.

Hopefully these will fix the black screen lockup bug from the last ones. Nothing like building a new system, having it lockup randomly with a black screen. Spending hours testing everything only to discover its the video drivers.
