Apparently, I can't stop changing things around the holidays. Thanks to an abundance of Amazon Gift Cards at Christmas from family & friends, I decided to make some "cosmetic" upgrades. New case, new case fans, new AIO. Looks like a completely new build at this point. I need to stop saying "I'm...
I've made some major "cosmetic" upgrades to my PC, thanks to an abundance of Amazon Gift Cards at Christmas. New case, AIO and case fans. I need to do the cable management for the entire set up, though. I plan on buying some supplies/materials to help tackle the mess behind the scenes, and get...
I've been busy... mainly "under the hood" of my PC. I've undervolted the CPU down to 1 volt, and turned down the core clock on the CPU down to 3600, all for the sake of thermals. Idle temperature now sits between 32-36°c, and doesn't go above 70°c under load. I haven't noticed a dip in...
I will be dipping into Spider-Man Remastered for PC this weekend. I'm really excited to swing around Manhattan again and grind out all the Steam Achievements to go along with my Platinum Trophies for the PS4 and PS5 Remastered versions.
If I'm not on that, I'll still be grinding out the latest...
Earlier this morning, I saw that my local MicroCenter had stock of the new GPU I’d been looking at for quite sometime. So I pulled the trigger and picked up an EVGA RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra. I’ve been running gaming benchmarks on it, and I’m astonished at the results over my RTX 2060 KO Ultra.
I...
I picked up a CPU upgrade this past weekend.
I saw an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X on sale at Best Buy, and thought the following (not exactly... but it was something along these lines. ;));
"In my last PC build, I started off with an Intel Core2Duo E6600 CPU, and upgraded it to a Core2Quad Q9400 after a...
Almost a year later and I finally get around to uploading "new" pics, they're in the original post. Anyways, it's been done. No alterations or upgrades or anything since my last post.
I use iCue for my RGB and fan controller. Having all my case fans, memory and AIO being Corsair, they're all synced together. So, I won't stop using iCue.
Having said that... I do entirely get what you're saying. I don't want you to think that I don't. However, the solution I'm using now is...
After dealing with erratic idle temperatures from the day I got this new CPU, earlier today I finally started to do some digging. Forgive me for not having reference links, but this is what I did, and I've been really happy with the results so far.
To start... AMD Ryzen 5 3600, Gigabyte X570...
Christmas has come, and brought me upgrades to the build! Upgrading from a B450 Aorus mATX board to a X570 Aorus Elite ATX. I also decided to swap out the case as I haven't been pleased with case thermals due to what I would call poor airflow in the NZXT H510. Initially I did say before I was...
Flippers use bots. That's why virtually every online retailer sold out the second they went online. It's very rare that a person NOT USING A BOT will be able to successfully buy one.
This happens whenever ANY item (be it concert/sporting tickets, collectibles, or a GPU in this case) launches...
I blame the buyers that used bots. Just please don't buy off of eBay. Don't reward the flippers, make them hold until there's wider availability.
Anyone who uses a bot to flip is just plain scum.
