Latency timings are overrated very often, but clock rates make a relatively noticeable difference. However, if you start with RAM rated at lower latencies, you can loosen the timings up and acheive a higher clock rate potential.
I got the 2001FP a few weeks back for ~650shipped. Slickdeals had some nice dell deals posted. Very crisp, no noticible ghosting on FPSes. Love the screen real estate.
I have the same Gelevia model with a timer and autobrew. It keeps the coffee warm for several hours without making that burnt taste many coffeemakers make.
