Thank you! This is a huge help. The most intense GPU usage will be light video editing, and that VGA output will be my email/skype/slack monitor so I won't need to worry about artifacts or refresh rates.
I was going for the latest i3-10100 because it's nearly a $100 jump to the i3-10300 and I'm pinching pennies. Probably cannibalizing one of my 16GB ram sticks from my gaming rig to use!
And I found a few boards that at least have 1xHDMI, 1xDVI, and 1xVGA. I will probably end up asking my buddy...
Hi all, My laptop workstation isn't cutting it anymore and I'm going to build myself a tower workstation. And it's an excuse to build another rig! I need to support 3x 1920x1080 monitors. I'm going to the current-gen Intel LGA1200, although a cheap i3 CPU. I'm loading up on RAM because of my...
Hey everyone, I am awfully jealous of my partner's Autonomous motorized standing/sitting desk. No matter how often I get up and stretch, I'm always in pair before 2pm. I'm finally going to make the leap and get a standing desk. Does anyone know of an alternatives, hopefully cheaper motorized...
Hi all, I am entering a new work-from-home situation and I need a few 27" or larger monitors. Refresh rate, etc. doesn't matter since this is just a workstation. Hopefully someone out there has a dusty old Dell or something. PM me!
It just happened again. Banned from competitive for 2 hours thanks to a dying graphics card of a stupid driver issue. I've cleared and reinstalled the drivers three times and installed the hotfix drivers Depepe mentioned.
The error was an pop-up window from Overwatch saying "rendering device...
No warnings or errors in the Windows Event Viewer, just a single pop-up error box. I'm going to try to get a screencap or pic of the error message. In the meantime I'll install the hotfix driver. Thanks for your help everyone.
Hey all, this started happening only in the last couple weeks and it's worrying me. I'll be playing Overwatch, and it'll freeze the game. I get an error that I can't even Alt-Tab to view, but I can read some text that pretty much says Overwatch and my drivers aren't playing nice (1080ti as I...
I looked through the rules and it doesn't look like it prohibits the sale of digital currency, so I figured I'd take a shot. I'm sick of exchanges taking chunks of my money and I'd like to buy a few hundred bucks in BTC to speculate. PM me if you have some spare coin (fractions) to sell.
I want to get rid of my i5-6500 3.2GHz and upgrade to an i7 Skyleke.
So I'm interested in any i7 Skylake out there, I can do a trade & cash if someone if looking to downgrade, or just cash is fine.
Feel free to check my Heatware heedback, same name as on here.
