This is one of several custom loop PC's I have but the most current. Sorry, I have not gotten around to cleaning up the fan wires on the externa radiator, a little messy.

Question, I have. 5930k 4.6ghz, 3200mhz ram on X99 deluxe that runs Titan X SLI Pascal.
I considered upgrading this to 8700k for 5ghz and a Maximus X Code board.
Since my old board and CPU support both gpus at 16x will this be a bad upgrade since they will now both run at 8x.
I game at 4K...
I used to sit about 3 feet away from my 48" and I never did feel like I had to look around. The key to no eye strain is 4K. Anything lower at that size and there would be some serious eye strain. I did however move my screen so its more like 4' away so that it doesn't sit in the middle of my...
I have an el-cheapo Vizio LCD plugged into a Denon receiver and the receiver plugged into a display port to HDMI convertor cable. The nvidia drivers allow 8bit color and 12bit color. There is no way this Vizio tv is capable of 12bit color. Also, if I bypass the receiver and go directly from...
Nvidia allowed 10bit color with their consumer gpu's some time ago, but your right, at one time you had to either have Quaddro or AMD to get 10bit. So if its not possible with HDMI 2.0 because of bandwidth limitations what is the point in making the display 10bit color capable? Wouldn't you...
I guess I assumed HDMI 2.0 meant 18Gbps available bandwidth.
So assuming there is 18Gbps to play with that is enough bandwidth for 4K, RGB or 4:4:4 8bit color, 60hz and enough left over for HDR?
EDIT: I see that there are 24 gauge HDMI cables on Amazon that claim 21Gbps, is that probably a...
Wasn't something I was really looking for as I only use it to game. I kinda figured 4:4:4 60hz 4k 10bit color might be outside of hdmi 2.0 spec but I couldn't find anyone on the Internet asking this question as I was curious.
Hi, I own a JU7500 40" that I use with my Titan X SLI setup. I have never been that happy with the screen. So I have upgraded to the JS9000 48". It hasn't arrived yet but I was curious if this screen is capable of 10bit color and if I will be able to select 10bit color in the Nvidia drivers...
I did the samsung chat thing. They said the 1440 does this:

So I tried enabling game mode, text became a little bit clearer. What I don't understand is UHD color still says its enabled in the tv's properties and Nvidia drivers still says RGB is enabled. I thought game mode prevented all those from working and would default it to 4:2:0
