The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I heard someone else say a calibration with a colorimeter does address the brightness issue.

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I’m ending up in a similar situation. The X32FP clearly has a very capable panel and will be great for some people. But to me the HDR brightness looks too dark in the 5-200 nit range (I don’t have a measurement device so that’s just a guess), the flickering on the faster local dimming is...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I’ve been using the X32FP for almost a week now. I plan to do a more in depth look at this week, but I’m still finding HDR too dark overall. I’m also a little concerned about the OSD. I may just go with a lower cost monitor for desktop tasks and get an OLED for HDR games. But I’ll try out the...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Absolutely. I was just curious. Having full bandwidth 48gpbs HDMI is clearly ideal.

Can DSC support 144Hz at 10bit on a 24gbps HDMI port?

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I don’t have way to test blur and overshoot, but overshoot is very obvious to me at highest overdrive setting. I need to do more testing with it set to off and normal. I’m still a little confused if it locks the overdrive to normal when VRR is on. The UI shows it locked, but I don’t recall the...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I’d really like to see someone test the X32FP and see if it tracks the EOTF brightness (like Rtings does). I’m very curious.

I tried the LG 32GQ950, but ran into issues with uniformity. It might have just been a few bad units though as I haven’t seen many complaints online. Other that I liked the monitor, it was probably one of the better edge-lit monitors I’ve tried. I would have kept it if not for the uniformity...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I have not noticed fan noise yet on the X32FP, but I also didn’t hear it on the LG 32GQ950 unless I put my ear near it. I’m not very sensitive to fan noise.

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I have not. I think it would be a good choice but the curve doesn’t work for me as I need the monitor for use cases where the curve would be too much. If I was mainly gaming I’d probably try it.

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I’ll take a look again but the highlights don’t seem to be the issue. In fact highlights seem ok, it’s the rest of the content that seems dark when HDR is enabled. In a game in HDR the X32FP is generally darker in average scenes and it is very noticeable in menus in HDR games. This is compared...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I tried to upgrade the firmware on the X32FP following Acer’s instructions but nothing happened. I don’t know if that’s means it already had the latest firmware or if I’m doing something wrong. Has anyone successfully done a firmware update?

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

It works, but side by side next to the 32GQ950 and 32UHD144 it looks darker in HDR. I’ve tried several HDR games and the same scenes appear darker on the X32FP. Peaks are definitely brighter, but the game overall looks darker than any other monitor I’ve tried. The desktop is MUCH darker. My...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

So I just picked up an Acer X32FP and it seems so much darker in HDR than other monitors (including the LG 32GQ950 and Corsair 32UHD144), especially when local dimming is enabled. I’ve tried so many settings and can’t figure it out. I like the monitor overall but it seems like it isn’t following...

    IoT Network Security Help

Thanks! I'll look into Ubiquiti. I was originally thinking I'd need to make a trunk connection from the router to a switch with 3 VLANs. Then the switch would separate the 3 VLANs. An updated diagram is attached. From what you said it sounds like I could just assign a secure LAN to port 1, then...
