Need advice on best AIO cooling options for new I7-6700K build

I have been getting the parts together for a long-overdue build. I picked up a 6700K, Asus Maximus Hero Alpha mobo, and a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv case. I want to go with an AIO water cooler, but there are quite a few out there, and the reviews are all over the map on most of them. I am looking to...

    Motherboard suggestions for I7-6700K build

I am looking to do a build with a new I7-6700K that I got on sale at Microcenter. There are so many Z170 options out there, and the site reviews and customer reviews are all over the map. I am looking for an ATX board for use with a single GTX 1080 and possibly an M.2 drive and 16GB ram. An...

It's BIG and WHITE and a Kilowatt - CORSAIR and HARDOCP PUT IT IN FOR FREE

Is that a voltage ripple in your pants, or are you just happy to see me? Just to make sure Paul hasn't violated the Corsair, I request a black light be run over it for safe measure.

GTX 1080 Retail Store Availability Only Founders Edition?

Same nonsense at Baltimore Microcenter. Manager said 20 people were lined up at 7am for the 1080. They opened at 9am, without notice, and the 15-20 cards in stock were gone. Par for the course with this sloppy Pascal launch.

Question about my first watercooling setup

I installed RealTemp yesterday to try and rule out an inaccurate temp reading from the bios, but RealTemp reports the temps at 61-65c at idle, so I think the pump was DOA from the start. Also, there is no noise or vibration from the pump itself while it's on, and the rad is cool to the touch...

Question about my first watercooling setup

Got the H220 installed, but getting high idle temps on the 3570k according to the bios. It is showing a cpu temp of 52-55c and that is at idle. I have removed and remounted 3-4 times now and reapplied the Noctua NT-H1 each time, but get the same temps. The ambient temp is about 25c. I am also...

Question about my first watercooling setup

Tsumi - do you have any suggestions regarding my original question of the radiator orientation?

Question about my first watercooling setup

This unit only requires refilling about once every 3 years under normal use. If you decide to expand the system and add another loop or something, then you would need to refill sooner. The H220 is kind of a hybrid of sorts, more than a standard AIO, but less than a full custom watercooling setup.

Question about my first watercooling setup

Putting a new rig together and I will be using a Swiftech H220 AIO in an NZXT Phantom 530 case. The radiator on the H220 has the reservoir with a fill port on one end of the radiator. One side (the bottom?) of the rad is flat and level, while the other side has the reservoir and fill port which...

500 Million ASUS Motherboards. The Celebration Starts at [H]. - Lucky Draw

I have been a loyal ASUS customer for many years. Currently have a P4B-266C with Pentium 4 combo in a family member's rig for many years now. Have a P8Z77-V Pro waiting to build with a 3570k. Getting the Sabertooth Z97 Mark-S and the Strix GTX 980 would be a life-altering event.
