    Same feelings as you when I finally completed the final ending of the expansion (after doing all the side gigs etc). I kept a save file from just before as I haven't done the car racing or boxing quest lines, not sure there is much story there...

    Friendly fire is definitely a part of the game, especially on 64 player team objective servers, but the actual damage you do per hit is very low so don't worry about it (but it is frustrating when they stop you from hitting an enemy)...
