This memory is practically brand new, I used it for about 2 weeks then changed my build up and didn't end up needing these sticks, it was NIB when I got it. They are gorgeous and feel amazing in hand (for whatever that's worth lol ) but I just don't need them. My loss is your gain. :D I ran...

My voltage at 1.33 got me stable to 5.6ghz. It was at 1.28 running up to 5.5. I'm hesitant to go too high obviously but even at 1.35 5.7ghz I am getting crashes during UserBenchmark CPU test. Should I keep...
I bumped my voltage from 1.25 to 1.33 and now I'm stable at 5.6. Not sure where I should stop, but might try for 5.7 later tonight. I told myself I wasn't going to become obsessed with overclocking this thing but it's funny how fast that rule gets broken once you start tinkering.
My i5 13600 is running at 5.5/4.2 without adjusting anything but ratio. I think I need more voltage for 5.6 because it's shutting down during userbench CPU test. Voltage is about 1.2ish
Looking forward to check this out when I get home. My i5 136000 runs 5.5 with ease. At 5.6 I am getting a shutdown during UserBenchmark CPU test so I think it needs a bit more juice, everything is default atm. (1.27-1.3 volts)
This actually makes a lot of sense. I have spent more time than I care to admit trying to understand why I was feeling the difference after being told here that my room isn't cooler. I can understand people telling me my theory was wrong, but the results just made that hard to accept. My room...
Yeah I game at 1440p 165. I don't think I am stressing the card out at all compared to the 3090 then? I'm really not looking to argue or prove anyone wrong, but all I can say is my room is cooler since upgrading to a 13th gen CPU from an 10th and from a 3090 to a 4090. The air coming out of...
Yeah, I am. My room is cooler after putting in a new GPU. The biggest change in heat output I can feel is from my GPU, where as before it was cranking hot air out, now it isn't. So again, the GPU running cooler, regardless of how, is resulting in a cooler gaming room. I haven't checked too...
Not just the cooler and my room is much cooler the card is mildly warm to the touch the air coming out of the back is much cooler compared to the 3090 which was hot as hell to the touch. Cooler card=cooler room. Source: Me in said room that I used to have to open a window in and now no longer do.
I don't mine. A 3090 is hot as hell, the 4090 is not. Temps that range 73-80 are going to warm a room far more than temps that range 55-60? 450 watts doesn't seem to matter. It's handled well either by design or a big hunk of metal. I think both it's just a cooler running card
3090 my...
Was it worth the switch to DDR5 in games? Like noticeable? I'd hate to ditch this setup I have now as it's stable as hell, just curious what kind of real world gaming increase I could expect from DDR5. I'm thinking not much unless numbers are what I'm after. As it is with a 4090 the games...
1) It's a DDR 4 mobo
2) I bought this system pre-built for 2,300 dollars from a dude on Facebook who didn't want to scalp but needed to sell for personal reasons. I wanted just the card, but I made an exception because the price was nuts, and now am building my daughter a gaming computer with...
