even if its not under warranty you could call the places and ask them for the part or to solder it on. its easy. you pick up the phone and dial and ask. if they say no then you should pick up the phone and call the next manufacturer on the list. its alot cheaper to talk to a couple customer...

yo man my friend did the exact same thing as you... he cracked that same peice on the ram slot on his p4p800 and he called albatron and they said theyd solder a new one on for no charge... so if i were you id try calling your manufacturer and seeing if theyllk do the smae for you... if not try...

neo2-ls and p4 2.4c 9700 np and a couple rocking sticks of mem, mushkin on a budget, and a slk900 from the right place'll run you about 700-800. of course thats all if u plan on oc'ing.

tried newer, didnt really think it got the job done and 1004 is worked out good for me... now if i can jsut get my temps lowered i could scale up some more ;o
