    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

dondan Do you have any updates on the tests? Like how does it compare to the LP53? and is it good enough that you will sell it? It's just that I'm looking to buy pc parts for the A4 v2 already before christmas and I need to know if I should get the VLP RAM or get regular ones with higher speed...

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

That's really interesting. I think that this is the first direct comparison of the CoolJag cooler against another air cooler on the market. Because the last air cooler test was with the Lian Li's copper one against the Cryorig C7, right? If you go by the very first tests where the Cooltek LP53...

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

Dondan, do you have a way to measure the noise? even a smartphone would do. It might not give the most accurate number but it would show the relative noise levels between setups. For example, it would be really interesting to know if the A12x15 is quieter enough at the same temp as the TY-100...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Some people filter out some stuff in place, instead of making a copy of the page so it wouldn't affect other viewers.

GHOST S1 - When both size & performance matters

Is the CPU side so wide just to fit 120 fan on top? I mean the DAN A4 has shown that 48mm of cooler clearance is enough with Cooltek LP53 even allowing great overclocking. You could have a sub 7 litre case if you made it the same width.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

That is interesting. This was with stock 7mm standoffs? "nexus 7" - you mean Nexus LOW-7000? that has a 20mm thick fan. How much room is there between the fan and cooler? How was the noise compared to noctua on load?

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Well, yes and no. He lowered it only by 1cm and was only using a i5 4750 with Intel Stock Cooler. As you can see from here and here, he actually has very small gap to draw air from the CPU. Also the i5 4750 is not going to generate the amount of heat a OC-ed k-series would. Look, I would agree...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Well, of course one would need to add spacers to the top screws but that is much easier for people to do themselves then to start drilling holes. You wouldn't need to provide the spacers, just two small factory drilled holes so people wouldn't have to at it with a hand drill or something.

So no alternative screw holes on the front to lower the PSU bracket?

RosaJ was the one who modified the Dynatron R15 onto LGA 1151 here:

Hmm...must have missed that somehow. Thanks

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

Actually, I started thinking that this vapor chamber design might be exactly what we need for DAN A4, and other small cases too. Dynatron R15 for LGA 2011 specs says it can cool 150W which is great considering the current best cooler Cooltek LP53 states 100W. We just need to get Dynatron to make...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Since this time around you could order way higher quantity, get cheaper but still quality riser and not have some one-time fixed costs (case tooling costs, setting up the company etc.), you could probably sell it on Kickstarter for 200 eur including shipping and profit. 199 eur tag would...
