Freesync Some have G-Sync working. I experience contrast flicker when I enable it. I just leave it off.
TN Panel. I actually prefer to look at this over my IPS panels that flank it to the left and right.
I got mine for under $300 a few months ago.
I love the Mayhems Pastel line of coolants. It is all that I have used in my loops for the past few years. I'm looking forward to seeing the build finished.
If I remember right my cards didn't care if there was a voltage increase using Afterburner. Can you disable SLI/PCIE slots on your setup to try individual cards. I had a pair of Gigabyte GHz Ed. 780s prior to the Classy and they would hit the same clocks in single and SLI. I'm not sure if it...
I have a 980ti Classy on water that I've benched at 1600 core/8612 mem, but it just barely made it through. I have several runs ranging from 1580-1590 core. I would think the KPE on water could match or better a Classy.
Here's a link to a TimeSpy run from awhile back. I do not recall the exact...
I'm building a dual 360mm loop in this case currently. My plan is to pull air in through the front and out the top. The PSU will be pulling in from the bottom and out the back. The case will be on a tabletop, so I'm not worried too much about heat cycling the PSU.
I'm contemplating making a...
I should mention that I'm using a waterblock 980Ti Classified and an Asus Maximus 8 Gene (mATX) mobo.
I'll try to get some better pictures this weekend.
I'm seeing this myself at 4k when benching with FS Ultra. Granted it's a synthetic test and my 980Ti Classy was running at 1600 core (Boost) and 8612 memory. I think "if" we could match the core clocks of the 1080 there wouldn't be the 1080 we know of today. Nvidia would have released something...
I managed to receive a 78.2% ASIC card. Took it to +120 core and +800 on the Samsung memory at stock voltage. I put mine underwater, so a custom bios will be flashed at some point.
Essentially, they need to be the same chip, they will clock to whichever is slowest. Now, I'm not sure how it works if you had say a 2Gb and 4Gb card like a 960 series.
Mine was an impulse buy coming from SLI 780s, as I will lose a small amount in games with good SLI profiles, but being stuck at 3gb when gaming @ 5760x1080 is no bueno on some of these newer titles. Now if I had the rare 6gb 780/780ti cards, I would've looked over this and waited for solid...
