chklin, this time the latest winflash 1.90 works to me now w/out error message and able to save the old bios from s3500t. the rom size is 1MB (1024KB). Here give it a try: http://rapidshare.com/files/139018136/Winflash_1.90.rar.html (includes the winflash 1.90 & the backup bios).

Sorry, my mistake. it seems the backup image reflects the rom size of new bios when you put any valid bios image file from WinPhlash utility ( I followed this step from here:http://icrontic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30777 ) When I do the same thing in my gigabyte mobo it doesnt match the size...
