I also just completed a fan swap on a 5PX 2200 RT.
I was kind of surprised that the fans do not turn off when on utility, as the equivalent APC model, the SMT 2200, has no audible fans when the battery is fully charged. I used Arctic P8 PWM fans I had laying around and just cut the extra 4th...
Ahh, you mean like the entire threading of the plug going all the way through and touching the back of the area where water sits? I don't think that it is, the threading seems deep enough to where that shouldn't be a problem and the plugs are rather shallow to be honest. I could be entirely off...
Thanks guys. I need to get more coolant but the stuff I used is out of stock everywhere. Might have to flush and re-fill with something I can actually get.
The flow in the loop itself seems perfectly fine, everything moves nice and quickly without restriction all the way from 20% to 100%. I'm not saying you're wrong but the DDC seems to perform as well as the D5 I was using before. I am not experienced enough to say one way or the other.
So my last build was a very basic soft tubing build and I had no problems saturating the loop to the point where the water looked static, the cpu block was completely filled up etc, all air bubbles eliminated, however, with this distro plate I am having trouble completely filling the loop...
So, I'm looking for some general thoughts here.
I've used 4 different CPUs historically and 2 different motherboards and I have the same problems across all of them.
When I try to boot, the POST will hang on bF 3 times and then shut down. Or, if I use the memtest button, I can get a post but...
Hi there, looking for a 6950x cpu, not really looking to spend more than $400 on one of these. I get that pricing is due to low supply, but frankly there isn't much reason to overpay when I could pay the same or less(of avg 6950x price on ebay) for 2066 10-core CPU. It's more of a convenience...
This is accurate, friends/family isn't bulletproof against charge backs, it's just a nice way to circumvent fees going into black holes (see: paypal's accounts) which can be excessive for large purchases.
I was excited to see this, seasonic connect, being a step in the direction of reducing cable clutter (to an extent), but unfortunately we haven't gotten any news from it since it was shown at Computex in 2019.
Anyone in the loop have any word on if this product will ever become commercially...
