I use use the stock HDR setting, Windows HDR, then set SDR to HDR brightness to 10. I use mpv player which does great SDR to HDR tonemapping on videos.
Windows 11 Dev Channel Build Updater auto-updated my NVIDIA driver to 510.10, which disabled RGB 4:4:4 (It selected 4:2:2 by default). I had to rollback to 471.96 to get RGB 4:4:4 back.

New F5 Beta is out, its supposed to improve brightness in HDR, maybe it'll fix the dimming issue. Will give it a spin.
I get full RGB 4:4:4 120Hz HDR from my RTX 3090, but only get RGB 4:4:4 60Hz HDR on my PS5 (I can also use 4:2:0 120Hz, but don't want chroma subsampling). Supposedly, this is because the PS5 doesn't support DSC, and the HDMI 2.1 ports from the FO48U can only do around 24 gbps without it.
I saw another instance, this time in an HDR Youtube video:
The flicker happens around the 1:27 mark, but it only occurs for sure if you watch from the start.
Looks like RTINGS has already ordered this monitor, looking forward to their review! https://www.rtings.com/monitor/discussions/9dW6Y0iV8UHzXE2O/great-review-hope-you-can-review-the-aorus-fo48u-as-well
Hi, new member here. Got this as my first HDR monitor in the Philippines.
Happy to confirm that the last audio port is a combo port, I tested it both as an analog line out using 3.5mm, and with a TOSLINK to mini 3.5mm Digital SPDIF cable on PC and PS5. The PS5 though seems to be having some...
