Nice, but I'm using the free Microsoft Powertoys which includes FancyZones. Seems to work seamlessly recently, even with Windows 11. Any advantages to using Displayfusion?

Good news - got my screen back and it's fully repaired! Apparently a faulty mainboard, but they also replaced the OLED screen too, which surprised me as I thought it was fine. Feels as good as new (but had to turn off ASBL again, so annoying lol)

Thanks dude - I REALLY MISS IT! It's such a great screen. Apparently it is coming back on Thursday which is really quick... I am suspicious, either a) it's not fixed, or b) it is fixed, or c) the store is just replacing it with a new model. I'm really hoping it's c)!

"No signal" displayed at all times, i.e. all HDMI ports dead. The menus and internet TV were all working fine, just none of the inputs. I'm glad the shop has taken it back and are looking at a repair - I would prefer a replacement though, as I can never trust faulty electronics after a...

    LG 48CX

Well, I sent my screen back for repair, and I'm desperately missing it! 4K is great, but 120Hz and OLED is a huge upgrade. Back on a Dell 23" IPS 1440p 60hz and it feels... bad. Once you go big OLED, you can't go back lol....

Tried that, then a few other cables. Some good news is the store (Currys) is picking it up to repair tomorrow, aiming to return within a week. I've a feeling this will need a replacement.

    LG 48CX

Thanks. I will check this out. I've just realised I purchased on 07/06/2020 so just inside guarantee period. I'm going to claim, as tonight HDMI4 suddenly stopped working, I'm getting a "No signal" on all inputs now. It's fried. The TV menus all work, it's just HDMI inputs don't. Tried...

    LG 48CX

I could do with some advice. Maybe even if there's nothing I can do? Basically, HDMI ports 1-3 are all faulty on my screen. Only HDMI 4 works now. I think they were fried by a faulty Digital TV box (an old Humax) that made a couple of loud popping sounds. HDMI 1+2 died immediately, HDMI 3...

    LG 48CX

Yeah, it's important to have a retrospective view on things. I bought shortly after launch, and this monitor stands the test of time - it's improved via firmware updates, is a much better PC experience when you disable ASBL ( ;) ) and when paired with a 30xx series or latest AMD, it's spellbinding.

Nice, hope you enjoy it disabled. I don't like wasting money and plastic/resources on cheap components either, but for the sake of using this beautiful screen without annoying auto-dimming I had to do it, as it was driving me crazy.

    LG 48CX

Yep, see my post on how to disable ASBL automatic dimming. I did this last year, and haven't had to touch it since I did it, even after multiple firmware patches. I've never looked back.

    LG 48CX

I have an issue with my setup. Short story is - my 3090 graphics card single HDMI port appears to have fried, along with one of the HDMI ports on the TV. I've tried changing the cable and connecting a different source to the TV too, and definitely confirmed that the HDMI port is fried along...

    LG 48CX

I'm sorry that people looking for a discount on the 48-inch model are disappointed. But I'm also incredibly pleased. This is a strong message to manufacturers that gamers want great quality OLED panels for desktop usage. In the long term it will benefit all of us, more 40-inch or similar high...

    LG 48CX

I've tried a few. Anno 1800 looks incredible, but isn't my kind of game. Total War: Three Kingdoms is excellent, but it does jutter a tiny bit on maximum ultra + VSYNC settings, which surprised me a bit. I suspect it has this problem on a lot of resolutions though. I've also been trying RPGs...

    LG 48CX

So, having owned the LG 48CX for a few months (and loving it), I finally managed to get hold of an MSI Gaming Trio X 3090 to pair with it. It's amazing - seriously amazing. This is everything you could want from a combination of high-end kit. Sure it will set you back over £3,000 but it's...
