I've been wondering how DLSS 2.0 looks on this display, I only have a 1070, so I can't test it myself. As far as I understand it is more likely to be a bit blurry at 1440p resolutions than at 4K.

After I bought my G9 Odyssey monitor, I've been contemplating an upgrade as well, possibly a 3080 to replace my 1070, and running it on my 5820K, and as the resolution is close to 4K I doubt I will be severly CPU limited, although the minimums could take a dip.

Nope, waiting for 2022 for upgrades as I only have time for computing ~2h a week, and I mainly play older games. Also my 5820k runs fine, and I'm very happy I bought a 5820K instead of a 4790k.
