I'm not sure if these Intel cards are good for gaming as of now, but at this price they seem good for Blender rendering. With resizeable bar enabled it does speed up the rendering process atleast in Windows. I don't think Nvidia and AMD has this capability enabled in Blender yet.

I bought my Corsair watercooled 3090 FE used so I don't know if the thermal pads on the VRM were the original or not, but they were 1mm thick and not even touching the the plate. I ended up putting in 2mm thick which was too thick, but this type of Gelid pads seemed squishy so I scooped some out...

I never bought from that specific seller before, but last week I bought 2 x Ryzen 3800x for $164 each. It was just the procesor in a clam shell in pretty good condition and it works. Local sellers usually ask for $200-$250 around here. I'm sure there are legit sellers out there.

I just have a system with a RX 6700 and 6800 for GPU rendering in Blender. Nothing super fancy but still faster than 1 video card. I can't really see a use for multiple video cards for gaming purposes.

Could they have designed the frame differently so it could help cool and/or spread the heat if the frame made contact with the CPU and had some fins? May not be too much air movement down that low, but still it might look cooler.

R-Mode also works for the 6700XT and 6800 non XT. Each 6700XT was using around +20 watts more compared to when I was using NBminer with around the same hash rates, but the 6800 was only about 12 watts less. I haven't found anyway to improve the efficiency for 6750XT.

Are you talking about a RTX 3080? I'm not exactly sure when the way etherium is mined now will end, but I have heard as early as the first quarter of 2022. It's not likely you will get your return of investment anytime next year or the year after the way things will change next year. There are...

RTX 3070 and 3060Ti that are full hash rate would be the best, but its unlikely you can find them at a reasonable price. If you don't already have a decent video card to mine with it may already be too late into get into mining.

At the time when this thread was started RTM mining was much easier to mine. Now its really not worth it on most computers. Even something with a 3900x, or a CPU with 16 or more threads you won't get much out of it. I'm glad started back in September, but I'm probably going to stop now.

It seems tricky to get MSR to start and I don't know if it's like this for anyone else. I have restart computer, quickly enter log in password in from Windows 10 and launch the miner as administrator. If you take too long entering your password it won't start with MSR.

I switched to Flockpool a few weeks ago when the it was easier to mine Raptoreum, but I seem to be getting less than half and maybe a 3rd of what I was doing before. Flockpool wasn't at the top of Raptoreums mining pools when I started. Maybe it's time to try another pool to see if its any better.

I have this link bookmark for MSI B450 motherboard, but maybe perhaps this may be similar to your motherboard. You should try without M.2 drive to see if you can get into bios with the 6 GPUs.

I have a rig with 8 and 16 Gb. The Windows drive memory is also expanded more than the total of the GPU memory plus RAM. I left the rig as is and let it reconnect so I wouldn't have to setup another rig. The reconnecting seems to happen regardless of AMD or Nvidia GPU once there are more than 1...

I have 2 NiceHash mining with my GPUs and a Raptoreum miner app running at the same time. I saved one thread so its not so laggy, but it seems like more GPUs mining makes the Raptoreum hashrate a little lower compared to the other rig.

Is Rplanet Pool any good for mining Raptoreum. I started a week ago and it seemed okay seems okay compared to some other pools. It was paying out by the hour today, but now it seems to just keep accumulating the balance. Is anyone else having the same problems?
