    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Hmmm the video is very compressed but to me it looks like a frame pase issue? Which in turn would be a adaptive/variable refresh rate issue if its happening with multiple games? On this thread somewhere, it has been mentioned before but please make sure you have g-sync enabled properly, (please...

This actually might be based on the frame rate your getting in game. Dose it happen on all your games? what is your fps? do you have g-sync enabled and vysnc off (in game) ? Do you think it could be a pixel over shoot? what overdrive settings are you using on the screen?

Just realised that the OSD Sidekick is also updated, i was using what ever version i had from months ago.... The firmware update required me to try 3 times, once failed and locked up my screen (display worked but was unresponsive to the remote and buttons) Windows then suggest running it in...

Hmmmm would be nice to know exactly but so far appears to just correctly label things inside windows. Also i don't understand why 12bit colour depth is selectable.... its a 10bit panel. Also as far as i am aware RGB colour format is superior to YCbCr444. So use RGB. I'll comment back if i see...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Just really had super close look and it is in fact there - so sorry its not completely gone. Your picture seems worse than what i am experiencing though, it's very hard to notice otherwise. Bellow is the worse setting (SDR - standard) and the worse location i could find for it. I only tested...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

This issue for me was fixed when i updated to F05 (from F04) a while back. Nothing changed with my setup and settings the firmware just appeared to fix it. Now running F06 and its still a non issue. Not sure what to suggest really.

Sorry but not even going to test this for you, its bound to look horrible. If you want high fps don't look for 4k monitor and especially if you prioritise competitive high fps gaming don't get a 43" screen. Also the scaling can be done on the GPU - for example through the Nvidia control...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

To my understanding this will be dependent on the application settings. For example if the application is in windowed/window borderless expect no transition. If it is full screen then there can be a transition - lengthened if the resolution, HDR is on/off or refresh rate is different to the...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Hmmmm well without seeing side by side i suppose it also could be a factor of user bias/preference or something as this is all being eyeballed. Do you think a photo would do it justice to show it here? Do make sure super res is set to 1 and in windows, hdr settings, sdr content brightness is...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Yes currently running win11 with hdr on. - screen picture mode set to "HDR1000" What I found (going back to when I originally had this screen on windows 10) was the desktop was super grey/washed out in reference mode - so I'd switch off "override to reference mode" then applied NVidia control...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Also Jickelsen in the NVidia control panel do you have the colour accuracy mode set to "reference" Something i noticed early on with this display is with windows poor hdr implementation i would have to toggle this on and off quite a lot to stop the desktop looking washed out. Not really re...

What the hell, yeah with that colour behind the browser window, exactly the same. Horizontal bands stretching across from the black sections of the window. Actually any colour, most easy to see on greys. Not noticed this before however my use case is almost entirely gaming.

To everyone who is having trouble updating the firmware I have no suggestions. However i do highly recommend you run F05, the text clarity has hugely improved when at 100% windows desktop scaling. Also it fixes the volume. Not sure what else...... I'd suggest contacting gigabyte e-support...
