Thanx kingofl337 I took out the gig of corsair and put in a stick of 512 kingston value ram and got a bios!!!! Of course when i put the windows disk in I went to press f6 to install the drivers for my sata drive and accidently pressed f5 and now windows wont try to setup any more lol I hate...

Yeah the pins are still with the processor. They appear to be ok. Since i dont even get a bios, it has to be a dead cpu? Right? but that doesnt solve the pull out problem. I watched the cpu slide/lock into place when i lowered the arm. ...........................

Excuse my ignorance, but what is cmos? If the problem was in my ram, or my video card, wouldn't i at least still get a bios screen? Either way, whats cmos? and im going to look into who makes my bios. Thanks for the replies.

I bought 1 gig of mushkin 222special. In the bios it reads as 1024 aswell as in my basic pc info, but in 3dmark03 it says1022. Is there something wrong or is that normal? Sorry for any ignorance im new to this whole thing but some input would be appreciated. thanx, adam
