The Lian Li Gallery

Crappy pics of my Lian Li PC A16. This case is beautiful. I'm so glad I got it.

The A16 comes with those mesh covers on the front:

But I liked the look of the original "sleek" covers better, so I bought 6 of the original style covers to replace them:

That gives my case that smooth look that made Lian-Li so famous, but I still have the mesh covers if I want to increase airflow, like I did in the bottom bay.

Performance-PCs also has the 120mm fan-sized cage, if that's what you are looking for, too.

Yeah, I agree—see my post. I sold my mesh covers on eBay, though. My increased airflow comes through the 3×120mm-fan radiator mounted to the bottom of the case. :D

Lian-Li is doing the cases a disservice with the mesh covers on non-mesh cases, I think. Leave the perforated look to the V-series cases. They should definitely be available, but I don't think they should be the defaults.

I modded this Lian Li PC-7 plus II for a good friend/customer. The paint style is refered to as "shreds" the paints are House of Kolor. 250mm cooling fan with dragon fan grill

While a little "over the top" for my taste, this is a project extremely well done. Very nice. *two thumbs up*

Interesting project. What's the direction?

I bought one of those for my V1000 and it did not fit.

I can't say it won't fit for other LL cases, but the 1000 has standard screw slots and the 343 bay fan has non-standard looking screw holes that may be special and exclusive to the 343 case only. I couldn't even screw it in, period. I installed it, letting it sit loose, but it wasn't an ideal fit so I ended up sending the part back to PPCs for a refund.

Just a word of warning -

Yeah, that's why i'm waiting for BZ-502... Too bad it's nowhere available. Right now i use Kama Bay, but it is not ideal either. Why ? Well, the design doesn't fit the front too much, but that's the smaller issue. The bigger problem is that there is a 1-2mm gap on both left and right side, which looks fugly. :(

boogerB, just started building it..im still waiting for the parts i needed.

Hey ti66er that is sick the way you have your setup but if it looked more stock like not so chopped up that would be awesome!

Apart from the radiator brackets, which i am gonna grind into nicer shapes,it looks fine.My idle temp is 26c and my load is no more than 50c too.

Actually a pretty clever place for the radiator. And while I agree that it looks fine, I think it would be improved by a radgrill over it, on the outside of the case. It'd also keep the radiator fins protected from dings or damage.

Carholmes-does your case produce a lot of noticeable humming noises with the pump attached directly to the motherboard tray like that?

Nope. But its not directly on the tray, I have some of Petra's "Gel stuff" on it. That stuff really works cutting down vibrations drastically.
