I'm in the market for an LSI-based controller using the SAS2008 chipset. The 9211-8I from LSI, the M1015 from IBM, the USAS2 from Supermicro, whatever. Solaris/FreeBSD compatibility is important, but any of those should be good to go. I found a place selling the M1015 for $150, so anything more expensive than that is out. I'm willing to do eBay if someone's seen a good deal there, or if you own one you're willing to part with I can do non-cc paypal.
I'm upgrading from a 3442E-R, so if you'd be interested in swapping for that plus cash I can do that too.
