Question for the pros out there, regarding the ones that use the 4mm bits. So starting and finishing manually seems like a requirement for these devices, which im fine with as its a natural action that doesnt take much effort. But if youre undoing a screw thats too tight, or if you want to...
Same. Some of their deals are so good you have to wonder how they even make money. Just irks me that I can never get in on them, as there's no way I'd drive eight hours for a part. Just shop ebay imo. Once in a while someone just wants to sell fast, and you create your own deal.
Is there a final word on this stuff? Will there be more desktop APU's before AM4 is retired, or is the 3400G the best they will have? Mobile is nice and all, but rather hear about desktop news.
That's not exactly the point. Even though my PC doesn't draw a lot of power (well below 200W even with dual monitors) I actually don't mind if it needed 400 or 500W, except the issue is I hate being wasteful if everything else is equal. In your example, 10W is fine. But if it's 30 or more, well...
Do high-power GPUs generally consume more power during non-gaming situations, versus say an APU or 1650 (no ext power)? Realistically I'll only game about 5% of the time the computer is on, so I want to know what kind of wattage they are pulling while not being stressed. For the top cards...
My onboard is a cheapo Realtek though
This is actually a good point, never thought of it like that. There are some cheap ones on ebay though, like for $10-20. May be worth a try. Although with my luck I'll prolly end up with a Chinese knockoff.
Yeah I'm always on native. And yeah I'm starting to feel that not many even use this sharpening setting. Maybe it's just my eyes, but the difference between it being off, or using a little is like night and day. Anyways, seems I'll be returning this monitor.
Thanks for reply, but I'm not looking for game improvement. I use low quality in games any way. I'm referring to overall display improvement. My old HP has 7 sharpness levels to choose from, and by comparison, the new monitor's on setting is several levels higher than the highest setting...
My new Acer monitor (B7 24") has very limited OSD sharpness settings. It just has off and on, and nothing else. I need more levels to choose from, like something in the middle. Radeon settings don't help. Are there any 3rd-party apps, callibration software, or driver editing techniques that...
ive done all that, except for lowering pagefile which ill look into now (not sure where to go to adjust it). all these space reduction tricks help, but what bothers me is that ive formatted with this setup before (same ram, minus the ssd) and have always ended with 17gb or so. suddenly...
did a clean install on an ssd with win7 ult the other day. after updates and common programs i was expecting 17gb or so used space, but this time it was twice as much at 34gb. no large programs or files on my main drive. system restore is off.
what am i missing?
