which one is better? x1950pro vs. 7900gto

gaming at Oblivion on 27inches or less LCD TV

i am just curious
 
7900gto is faster in most games not to mention it costs more.. Not sure about oblivion since ATI owns oblivion...
 
currently, anything with oblivion is Ati .... period. But I havent really looked into the 950pro yet... so I wouldn't know.
 
What size/Manufacturer PowerSupply is good for the 7900GT as I am using a 450W cheapo (one that came with my case) and it will not consistantly power up? (This is a new build).
 
Is this really a fair comparison, though? ATI Radeon 1950 Pros are being sold. Nvidia Geforce 7900GTOs are not. If I'm not mistaken, they were just a way to get rid of GTX cores from eVGA's inventories.
 
The X1950 Pro should kill the 7900 GTO in Oblivion.

In everything else, performance should be relatively close.
 
No, the X1950pro is on par with a 7900GS, and slower in most things. The 7900GTO > GS and even more after clocking to GTX.

But in oblivion, I have my money on the ATI card.
