Windows 7 multiple display issue

So I'll have different programs running on different screens. I'll have several excel documents on screen 1 and outlook running on screen 2. If I move my mouse cursor down to the taskbar to highlight an open file on screen one, the outlook screen on monitor 2 will disappear and show the desktop screen. Same thing if I mouse over outlook running on screen 2 on the taskbar, then excel program on screen 1 disappears and shows the desktop. How do I prevent this from happening so programs always show on screen?

Looks like an Aero issue. Problem fixed by selecting Windows 7 basic theme.

That's not a bug, but a feature. If you hover over a program in W7, it hides all other programs, showing the desktop. Are you trying to turn it off?

Yes that was the issue. A user was complaining about it and only way I found to resolve it was to disable Aero by selecting Windows 7 basic theme.

For future purposes, it's called "Aero Peek."

You can disable it by right-clicking on the taskbar, selecting "properties" and unchecking "Use Aero Peel to preview the desktop."

Tried that, it didn't work. Even rebooted after unchecking.
