Also what YOU said. I'm a "night" guy myself.not everyone is conditioned yet to wake at 4:30 am be ready for 5 then out the door by 6 lol
I guess all the stores are getting greedy. At least Best Buy isn't trying to stuff crap down your throat with "bundles."BestBuy is doing it too. This is my video card, which original MSRP was $799.

When I bought it, it was $999 on BestBuy. Then a week later it was around $1,249, now it is $1,499 (actually around what I paid on eBay, so that makes me feel slightly better).

A bundle of any type always discourages me from buying.Aren't the bundles meant to discourage scalping?
I suspect that the scalpers just throw away the extra stuff, or else dump it on ebay cheap. There is so much profit in scalping.Aren't the bundles meant to discourage scalping?
I went to best buy today. They had a 3070Ti for $949 lol.
I think everyone is charging a lot from AIB to retailer.
It was an MSI model forget exact one. I’m sure the price is what the AIb charges or close to it but still $599 msrp to $949 for an aib model is quite a lotWhich model?
What was MSRP?Microcenter did not me scalp me. got a 3090 FTW3 at MSRP today. it's kinda sad how excited i was, and all because i just randomly checked the microcenter website today. had to grab an uber during lunch.
$1889 at my MC.What was MSRP?
Same$1889 at my MC.
The 89 is supposed to make us feel like we got a deal....$1889 at my MC.
Look at how much cheaper that is then if it was $1899. Yes....speaking to your brain subliminally. The 89 is supposed to make us feel like we got a deal....
exactly, and its the one of best models they have , they have cheaper ones, but I wanted the FTW3 ultra one. look at how much the MSI ones cost. it was also far cheaper than any 3090 you can ever get on the newegg shuffle. it's a 3090, i knew that going in.Compared to other AiB that are $2200+ it is.
I have never seen the xc in stock at MC since release.exactly, and its the one of best models they have , they have cheaper ones, but I wanted the FTW3 ultra one. look at how much the MSI ones cost. it was also far cheaper than any 3090 you can ever get on the newegg shuffle. it's a 3090, i knew that going in.
Both are absurdly overpriced.Compared to other AiB that are $2200+ it is.
EVGA even making XC models? All I've ever seen were the higher priced FTW3 models.I have never seen the xc in stock at MC since release.
They made a few of the hydro blocks a few weeks ago and the que hasn't moved since.EVGA even making XC models? All I've ever seen were the higher priced FTW3 models.
My 3070ti ftw3 only has 2. But the 3080 up do require 3 I believe.I still haven't gotten any XC3 models I've been in queue since September. The thing I don't like about FTW3 models etc is the 3 power plug requirement.
Oops yeah I meant 3090/3080 GPUs.My 3070ti ftw3 only has 2. But the 3080 up do require 3 believe.
I dunno whats going on with those AMD cards, but when I picked up my MSI 3090 Triple X in January it wasn’t over MSRP. Of course i was hoping to save 700 bones on a 3080 but it works for me for nowMicrocenter did not me scalp me. got a 3090 FTW3 at MSRP today. it's kinda sad how excited i was, and all because i just randomly checked the microcenter website today. had to grab an uber during lunch.
Yea Everytime I go and ask about Nvidia cards they always say but we have plenty of AMD cards. They can shove their $900 6700s up their ass.I went in yesterday to get some ram sticks. Saw Amd cards and thought it was getting better then she told me those 6900xt are $2600. I said those are going to stay right there.
EVGA cards are made in taiwan so they don't get the tariff tax. Other AiB are made and China and gouging on top of it tho.Just saw a $1400 3080TI at microcenter. Pretty sure they're not scalping. The 6700XT prices for AIBs are nuts (not MC's fault) though. The coolers all generally suck and the performance isn't all that great. I surprisingly really like the 6800s though. They generally seem to be a copy + paste of the higher end 6800XT coolers so you get really good thermals and a little more performance.

ooooooo i was about to install and run this on my system. guess ill have to order some thermal pads and repaste it. before i try this. thanks for the heads up.
Shelter is necessary, a brand new stupid big home isn't. Brand new stupid big homes are expensive, and way outside my budget. The people in this thread arguing over what constitutes as "luxury". What the actual fuck.
Nearly everything in your life is non-essential. I hate to break it to you but the cold hard ground, food, water, and oxygen is technically all you need to survive. The same people that argue that dedicated GPUs are a "luxury" item as if that statement justifies a bunch of immoral business practices should have their homes, cars, and clothes priced out of their budget, since those are all luxury items as well.
