What happened to prices on PSus? Some seem to have vastly increased since 6 months ago.

Corsair RMx 1000 watt, EVGA G6 1000 watt, seem to have gone way up in price. The EVGA G6 1000 watt is now double the price it was 6 months ago.

I can't view that forum.

But not many things have doubled in price. And this is a price increase over just 6 months, not 2 years. I don't think it can be attributed to inflation.

gas/diesel doubled which jacks things waaaay up on its own. its not normal inflation...

Part of it is inflation, part of is is GPU manufacturers shifting the burden of power spikes from the video card companies to the power supply companies. Instead of putting the power supply regulation hardware on the GPUs, they're leaving it to the PSU makers to make power supplies that can handle load spikes.
