I have an air cooler on it now, but the temps hit upwards of 177F!

What would you recommend for this CPU to cool it down?

And will go with my Asrocdk Z690 riptide

A 280mm or 360 if you have the room. A 240 would likely suffice also. As far as which coolers, I’d do some research and see what you think. I use a h150i elite on a 12700k, but it might be overkill. Maybe look at a arctic freezer 2. Those seem to be popular for price and performance .

I'm running an air cooler on my 12700K (Noctua in sig). My temps stay in the 40's idle and maybe low 50's during gaming, but I have a high airflow case. I did run an Aorus Waterforce X360 on mine for a while and it kept it cool, but the Noctua cooler is doing roughly the same. I guess it depends on your case as well. Looking at your motherboard it doesn't look to have any restrictions (VRM wise) so just about any AIO should work.

177F isn't all that hot on air. I probably wouldn't spend the money and instead work on undervolting.

yup as stated temps are fine but could you use C instead, like normal people ;)
play with "under volting" to shave some C off.
