underperforming system?

i upgraded my cpu,mobo, and gpu and i was wondering how its scores are relative to others. My specs are:

amd64 3500+
Abit av8
2x512 Crucial pc2700 ram
Nvidia gefore 6800 GT


I had an amdxp 2800+ and my score on 3dmark2001 se was about 16000. When i upgraded to the amd64, it jumped up to a little bit less then 21000. I was happy with that, then i read in a few xbit labs reviews that the same processor and gpu system got a 25000. There ram was ddr400 to my ddr333, but i know that that small difference would not account for a 5K increase.

What about the ram timings? They could have been running ll ram and your running value ram.

1. its a 2-2-2-10 Corsair

2. I noticed that i read the wrong thing and the graphics card is an x800XT. I know the XT is alot better card then the 6800GT, but would that combined with the dd400, make it 5000 more?

Yeah, not to mention if they spent some time tweking all the settings to get every point out of it.
