Does anyone have the ROG Strix Z690A Gaming Wifi D4 ?

There are a lot of covers and heat sinks. Are they all metal?

The Noctua NH-D15 is incompatible because of the covers around the IO panel. Is any of
that plastic? Do you see any way to make the Noctua fit?

I have one. It seems to be metal of some sort. No, I don't see anyway for a D15 to fit. I'm sure you "could" get it to fit with warranty voiding modification and imagination.

I am looking at pics of both the MSI edge that is compatible with the Noctua and the Strix. The clearance looks almost the same. Is it because the Strix heat sinks are taller? I would love to see where it hits but that would require buying the board.

I just received my MSI MPG Z690 Edge WIFI DDR4. The heat sinks are substantial but there is more than adequate clearance for the NH-D15. Hard to
believe that Asus missed it so badly!
