So just to confirm since my download in this stupid hotel is taking foreverrrrrr... Steam is allowing me to install just this but, do you need Portal 2 installed to play or do you just need to own it?

Likely just own it. The mod probably comes pre-bundled with files borrowed from Portal 2. And Valve says that's ok as long as the player owns Portal 2.

Yea no need to have 2 installed.

Doesn't matter though, I can't get past the 4th damn level lol. Something just is not clicking.
