Is there a way to output 7.1 sound from a PC DTS movie to analogue speakers using the built in Realtek audio?

VLC would be the goat go to generally. Alternatively I would recommend MPC-BE.

Assuming you have the requisite audio ports, it should be easy -- your movie player (vlc, for example) and audio codec (realtek) should handle it.

If you have only line-in/mic, line-out, and phones (three ports), you'll need to either get a sound card with the rear, center, front, and sub ports, or get a DAC with DTS support and run the line-out to the DAC.
