There is a nuance between losing actual money and loosing market evaluation, if you and the market is evaluating some of your asset to a much lower value than it (and you) did a year ago, you loose a lot of evaluation but you didn't necessarily loose actual money.

In yen they are making trillions in USD usually just under 100 billions in revenues, they are a really giant conglomerate.
