Here is the finished product for the time being. While I still intend to go with metal tubing (post 1744), I had issues chamfering the tubes correctly and ended up destroying a few inner o-rings. Additionally, I only have one cross fitting on hand (used to straighten out the runs). While packages generally take 4-6 weeks to get here, I figure why not use the ZMT I had laying around.

I will tackle the metal tubes again once the next GPU comes in.

CPU 34C

Isn't that going to keep the NVME below optimal temp? I thought they needed to be a bit warmer... (still awesome build)

I just looked down at my temps and its freaking cold here in socal. Man, five years ago I would have opened the windows and got to town benching, lol.

cpu is at 32, gpu at 20, water temp at 23.

Looking for some advice on a new build. Trying to find the smallest possible case that is MiniITX board compatible that also can fit a 240mm x 60mm Alpha cool radiator and a 180mm PSU

are there any cases smaller than the Corsair 280x that can fit these criteria?

Edit: Found the NZXT H210i, but honestly I'm looking to go smaller if possible

Hit up r/watercooling and overclock.net. I forget which site (prob. Reddit), but I've seen some amazingly tiny rigs that are probably what you are looking for.

Hard-tubing in a full-size case makes maintenance a little more difficult. Hard-tubing a mini-ITX makes it nearly impossible. Honestly, I'd leave it as-is. It looks great already.

I'm lazy and don't carry a camera around any more, but yeah- a good polarizer is amazing.

First time poster...

This is the build I've been rolling with for the past 6 months. Built out of a combination of parts salvaged from my first build and parts gifted to me by Smoked Brisket (built with his help too). This was a big upgrade since I was running with a 970 up until June. The Hydro Copper is still a beast for the games I like to play.

Looking to upgrade to a hand-me-down 5700 XT and transitioning to a hard tube build in the next week or so. I just wanted to memorialize this build as my first water cooled PC.

After how long the hard tubing build took for my personal build, the workstation build is using soft tubing. I also plan to upgrade the GPUs if/when the 3080s I've had backordered for months ever come through, so I didn't want to make any lines that may be temporary. Honestly not sure I will hard line this build even if I get some 3080s, as time isn't really luxury I have with this build, plus it sits in the garage. And I think it looks pretty good even with soft tubes + random spare fittings. My toddler loves it too. To him it's just another set of Christmas lights.

Specs: 3970X + 128GB DDR4 + 3x RTX 2080Ti HC FTW (running at 70% PT to keep power usage down)
Case + Cooling: PC-O11D XL + HW Labs 360GTS X-Flow bottom + HW Labs 360GTX top + Corsair XLR7 side.
Loop arrangement: Dual D5 single loop. I had considered doing separate loops for the CPU and GPUs but couldn't figure out an airflow arrangement with intakes/exhaust where it made sense to do that. The bottom and side are intakes and the top is exhaust. I have to run this with the side panel off to prevent too much hot air build up within the case.

Looks very nice as-is, but 3x 2080 Ti's makes me weep for your poor, poor power supply :)

Had to switch to hard tubes for tighter bends. Still some wire management needs to be done on the gpu side and a support bracket needs to printed for gpu, but for the most part I’m done.

Unifans all around except for rear intake - still searching for a 3 pack of white to replace the 1 doa that I had to cut up to fit and the rear fan

This is my first custom loop. 5600x & rx6800 under EK blocks in a NR200p. Single 240 rad I am finding is not enough. I was going to add a 2nd 240 in the top, but my daughter had another idea. She sees the shiny RGB & wants a gaming rig of her own so I am moving some over to a O11 Mini with dual 360's & hardline. Forgot to order the straight compression fittings otherwise I would be doing that now instead of scrolling through all these other fantastic builds.
