We use Teams extensively, and one group created a site. They assumed it was a SharePoint site, given that the URL says SharePoint in it, but my admin and management options are different than if it had been created in SharePoint from the beginning.

Is there a method or process I can use to convert it to a SharePoint site without doing so manually?

Teams creates a sharepoint site on the backend for all the files and the wiki portion. Members in a teams channel should be able to go to their one drive and see the files being shared and access anyfiles in sharepoint. We havent needed to convert to the normal sharepoint site since do everything in Teams these days. I have seen 3rd party tools that will migrate Teams and sharepoint sites, but not sure how you want to convert it.

I think I was looking to be able to manage the site from the Office Admin Portal, where as I wasn't able to do so if it was a Teams site.
