Just got a Lenovo X220 outfitted with an Intel 520 480GB. The write performance seems incredibly low. I'm using CrystalMark (writing 0's), and am getting the following results below. It is substantially lower than Anandtech/StorageReview numbers. Any suggestions what might be wrong?

System is a Lenovo X220
Core i5 2520M (2.5 GHz)
4GB Memory
Windows 7 x64 Enterprise
Intel 520 480 GB SSD
Latest chipset drivers and SSD Toolbox optimized

First thing to do is install lenovo system update and make sure you have the latest drivers installed, and that in the bios you have sata set to ahci. Also try asssd and make sure your partition is aligned. Your writes don't seem far off at all based on some of the reviews such as http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/intel_520_series_480gb_review,7.html which show sequential writes 220+MB. Lastly, this is your system drive which will have a significant impact in benchmarks. Most of the benchmarks you see are for a blank drive which is setup as a secondary storage drive, not a system drive.
