Looking for some networking help...

How can I convert a .mdf to .mdb file? I have been looking and I cannot find a solution.

you can't just "convert" it.
kinda like trying to "convert" a SQL 2005 db to a SQL 2000 db. It's not possible.
There are ways to do it, but it's not as simple as "converting"

data is held differently between the different types of databases.

you would have to some how export the data from SQL and import it into an Access db.

but something tells me either that tech guy doesn't know what he's talking about, or the company just designed their software ass backwards.

I think this is more of a DBA than a networking question now. :p There's no reason why you have to use a lesser database format when SQL can do it. Now if only I could remember how to be a DBA... >_<

Well I did not work on it yesterday as I had other projects lined up for the day so the owner gave the company the login info to remote into the systems and check them out. It took them about 5 hours so they finally got it. I have not looked to see what they did to get everything working but I am happy that it is done. Thank you everyone for your help!
