Linksys E4200: Cannot log in

So I bought an E4200, did the initial setup for wifi and security, and let it sit there. It's been running fine for a few months. Last week I go and try to change some firewall settings, and I cannot access it. I can get to the webpage where it warns you about a certificate error. However, when I click next, but it gives me a webpage not found error (tried with IE9 and Chrome). I tried connecting to it via wifi and LAN, and same thing. I rebooted the thing and it didn't help either.

Any hints on how to log in to the E4200 without resorting to a factory reset?

try forcing http instead of https by actually typing it out:
http://192.168.100.1

Otherwise see if you can change the certifications settings in your browsers.

I recall disabling http, so http doesn't work.

I have the certification settings literally set to the lowest and it still fails.

i guess just do a router reset then.
