Is Linux Ready for Prime Time?

I've been running Linux as my main for 6 months now. I've been using Garuda which is Arch based. It detects all of my hardware and I've have very very few issues with my normal use case (gaming and web browsing). Games for the most part just work although it's not exactly uncommon to have to enter a launch option to get something to work right but with ProtonDB it only takes a couple of minutes. My biggest issues so far has been a handful of mods that are separate applications (Mods with their own EXEs and special DLLs are a pain) and my work VPN as they don't support Linux and while I can login to the VPN it doesn't set the proper routing (I resolved this by installing Windows in a VM for when I need it). Going back to the Windows desktop feels positively archaic after getting used to KDE Plasma.
Just to be honest, most all Vista+ mods to Windows UI came from Linux DEs, and many of the changes, from direction in KDE in particular. Something to be aware of.
